Was Your Child Late to the Party?
Dear friends and followers,
I am thrilled to share that I am working on my next book - a collection of true stories highlighting the unique experiences of families with children identified with hearing loss beyond the first few months or years of life. Researchers refer to these children as late-identified. This was our family story.
HEARING LOSS CAN OCCUR AT ANY AGE AND ANY STAGE OF CHILDHOOD.
If you or someone you know has a deaf or hard-of-hearing child who was diagnosed with permanent bilateral or unilateral hearing loss between 6 months and 16 years of age, I’d love to hear your story. My upcoming book Late to the Party is scheduled for publication in 2026 and I will be accepting submissions Spring 2025.

Let’s give ‘em something to talk about, y’all. It’s time.
Much love,
